It is with an extraordinarily heavy heart and swollen eyes that I must share the death of Maggie. I know she meant so much to many of you. She was a special dog with a giant heart and natural instinct for therapy dog work and will not be soon forgotten. She was old and tired and told me it was her time to go, so with many tears and much love, we helped her across the rainbow bridge peacefully and compassionately. It was the last thing we wanted and a day we hoped against all hope would never come. She loved big and loved going to work and she has touched so many lives. Thank you for loving and accepting her as part of The Gray Couch. “Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot.
