I want to share something that completely shifted the way I understand emotional healing ❤️🩹
After years of working with women who’ve lived in chronic survival mode, hypervigilant, depleted, overwhelmed, and doing their best just to function, I started to see a deeper truth.
Most people assume destructive thoughts, emotional reactivity, or self-sabotage happen because they aren’t doing enough work on themselves.
But that’s not what’s actually happening.
Those repetitive thoughts and automatic reactions are simply your body trying to communicate with you. They’re signals that trapped emotional energy is still active beneath the surface, asking to be processed instead of pushed away.
And the mistake so many of us make is that we resist the discomfort…
and what we resist, persists. 🚫⚡️
