“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Psalm 46:10
Stillness is hard when life is loud.
Responsibilities. Expectations. Noise from every direction.
Our instinct is to move faster, try harder, fix more — anything to feel back in control.
But this verse isn’t passive. It’s powerful.
“Be still” isn’t a suggestion to quit — it’s a command to release.
To loosen your grip on the things you were never meant to hold in the first place.
God isn’t asking for your panic, your hustle, or your exhaustion.
He’s asking for your trust.
Sometimes peace doesn’t come from fixing everything.
It comes from remembering who’s actually in control.
From stepping back long enough to let God step forward.
You don’t have to carry everything.
You just have to be still long enough to remember that He already is.
Stay blessed this week ahead!
