Hamstring pain can occur for several different reasons. Many people with desk jobs find that their hamstring pain is caused by sitting most of the day, which tightens the hamstring muscles. This can also lead to back pain or knee pain if left untreated.

Stretching the hamstring muscles can give some relief, but does not always solve the problem. An ART Certified Provider can palpate to find the area causing the pain and release it so that the patient is able to move and stretch the muscle farther than before. ART treatment can take a few sessions to resolve an issue, but most pain can be resolved in five or fewer treatments!

Dr Ben worked his magic my thumb which had been giving me trouble . These guys specialize in Active Release Technique. It’s totally different than having an adjustment, which I am personally not into. I had been suffering for months and my next step was back to the orthopedic hand doctor for injections. I am so amazed at how it is pretty much 100% after three visits. I highly recommend paying this office a visit for any type of ortho pain as your first stop!

I was in horrific pain, with constant spasms in my neck and shoulders, and was extremely skeptical ART Therapy would help me. Dr. Derbes is very skilled in ART, takes as much time with me as is needed, and also explains the therapy as he performs it, as well as answers any and all questions I have. I received so much pain relief after just two visits, and now have nearly normal function in my neck and shoulders. I recommend ART and Dr. Derbes to anyone in pain, and having functional disability in any area of their body! ART and Dr. Derbes made a believer out of me! And, Ms. Bonnie, Dr. Derbes’ wife, is a sweetheart, as she is the receptionist/co-administrator of the business side. I was referred to Dr. Jim Derbes by a friend because my left shoulder was locked (Frozen Shoulder) and was very painful for several months. Just after my first initial visit I left with no pain and feeling 100 times better. I recommend Dr. Jim Derbes to all of my family and friends, simply from my experience with him helping me get to where I was not in pain any longer. I am now able to do and enjoy the activities I did before.

ART is the knockout!!

One of our favorite things about ART (aside from it being the best treatment system ever), is that we get to meet some pretty amazing people in our day-to-day. Thank you, for sharing this with us and best of luck to Cody as he prepares for his next UFC fight!
