We share a lot with our village. Here’s a tip worth sharing: Lead poisoning often has no symptoms, and the only way to know is a simple blood test. Ask your health care provider about testing at ages 1 and 2.

Effective, routine screening is the best way to reduce your risk of colorectal cancer. The American Cancer Society recommends that people at average risk of colorectal cancer start regular screening at age 45. Increased or high risk may need to start earlier.

Colorectal cancer screening is now easier than ever with different screening methods available; one option is an at-home test known as a f***l immunochemical test (FIT); FIT kits look for signs of cancer using a stool/f***l sample. Colonoscopy or Sigmoidoscopy are tests that are performed by a doctor, generally in an outpatient surgical setting.

Colon cancer is highly treatable. Learn more at https://brnw.ch/21x12Uz.

A concussion is a type of traumatic brain injury (TBI) that results from a bump, blow, or jolt to the head, or a hit to the body that causes the head and brain to move rapidly back and forth. This sudden movement can cause the brain to bounce or even twist inside the skull, stretching and damaging brain cells and creating chemical changes in the brain.
