Our very own Dr. Hong reminds us why this day matters:

“World AIDS Day is a day to commemorate and remember the tremendous progress that we’ve made in combating the HIV pandemic … and also remembering the millions of lives that have been lost.”

He adds a stark reality check:

“It’s a virus and it can infect any person … across the United States, it’s really infecting those who are socially marginalized, those who do not have access to care, people who are coming from different countries.”
