Dr. Jocelyn Mattoon
January 5th, 2026

Dr. Mattoon completed her residency at IUH Ball Memorial Family Medicine Residency in
Muncie, IN in 2021 with distinctions in behavioral and maternal-child health. She graduated with her medical degree from KU School of Medicine Wichita in 2018.
Previous education includes a Master of Science in Counseling and Student Development and her
Bachelor of Science in Anthropology, both from Kansas State University.
Dr. Mattoon enjoys practicing the broad scope of family medicine and treating patients of
every age and background. She has special interests in women’s health and behavioral
health.
Dr. Mattoon enjoys watching K-State sports. She also enjoys reading, gardening, and
collecting uranium glass and other vintage art glass. She is a fiercely competitive trivia
player.
Dr. Mattoon grew up outside of Dwight, KS after her father was stationed at Ft Riley in 1993.
She met her high school sweetheart and now husband of nearly 20 years, Cody, on the
Council Grove High scholars’ bowl team. Together they have a son, Callum, and a black lab named lx.

Stonecreek is doing a food drive and we thought how fun if our patients would like to participate. Bring in a food or other non parishable item and put your name in for a drawing to win this cute basket we put together!! We will collect items until November 14th.

With The New Year:
Please check your insurance cards prior to your appointment.
Stonecreek is not in network with all insurance plans. If your plan switched from the previous year please check to make sure you wont run into any unkown issues.
Things to look for:
-is there a doctor's name on your card that isn't who you see at Stonecreek?
If so your insurance will not allow for your visit at Stonecreek. It will be billed to you directly.
-does your card have HMO on it?
Stonecreek is not in network with HMO plans and the insurance will not allow your visit. It will be billed to you directly.

We want to help you avoid any of these problems prior to your visit.

Update on Stonecreek closure.
For the safety of our staff and patients we will be closed all day. For urgent care needs please call on our call service. 1-866-791-6546.
If you have an in office visit in the afternoon you will be contacted.
If telelvisit our providers will be doing those from their home.
Please stay safe!

History of Stonecreek

Stonecreek Family Physicians opened in 1999 with four doctors, Dr. Kevin Wall, Dr. Douglas Hinkin, Dr. Keith Wright and Dr. Debra Doubek. Understanding the need to make patients comfortable as well as the need for efficiency they worked diligently to create the blueprint for Stonecreek. Construction began in 1998 with the first patients cared for in the new facility in June 1999. Since then we have grown immensely. Currently we have 10 physicians seeing patients as well as several excellent Nurse Practioners and Physician Assistants.
