We don't do cover letters or type-in-your-whole-resume marathons. We are a small company with an even smaller office, but we still want you to have an easy, painless, and well-structured interview process.

1. Read description thoroughly and decide that you are interested. It's dense, I know, but we want you to have all the deets before you make a decision.
2. Apply on Indeed. We don't do those annoying skills tests and it will generate your resume for you.
3. We will contact you to set an interview if we are interested. We value your time. :)

About Us
Good Witch Cleaning Services, LLC is a locally owned and operated company whose mission is “to prove that you don’t have to be an evil corporation to be a successful company.” We are home to a diverse, people-oriented team that takes pride in the services we provide and understands the impact of a clean home for a busy family-- it's literally a calm in a never-ending storm. We are looking for a team member that can help us put the “good” in Good Witch. Learn more about what we stand for here: https://www.goodwitchcleaning.com/dwell-time/who-we-are

About You
We are looking for committed and people-oriented individuals to join our team. Reliability is a must-- the technicians who make the most money here show up every day.

After training, you'll clean 1-2 houses a day, depending on your availability. We will build a client list based on an availability schedule that you set before you graduate. You will have a standard rotation of the same clients, giving you the chance to build rapport and routine-- making your job easier over time. This job is physically demanding but great for people who would rather die than sit at a desk all day. It requires emotional intelligence, but it is also physically, emotionally, and financially rewarding.

If you've managed other people, you'll like it here because you only have to manage yourself. You will have access to all the supplies, equipment, training, resources, and support you need to be successful. Once trained, you will be expected to have what you need on your jobsites, manage your own time, and ask for help if you need it.

A successful RCT is highly motivated, friendly, and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The MOST successful RCTs are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and love working every day to find new ways of connecting with and wowing their clients. They are committed to learning a trade, enjoy gaining new skills, and understand the importance of building a relationship with clients.

❓Are you interested❓

We have recently switched to these amazing products. Each little pack contains a concentrate that dissolves completely in warm water. They are eco-friendly and biodegradable and they do a great job.

They don't sell them retail. You have to be a distributor or a company to purchase them. Which seemed kind of sad. So we put together a solution:

Introductory bundle:
~4 quart sized glass bottles
~One of each cleaner you'll need in the average home-- a general surface cleaner, a bathroom cleaner, a glass cleaner, and a degreaser-- for each bottle. Each bottle lasts for a month or more-- 3 packs represent approximately a 3-month supply.
~The Sals Suds is also used as an effective dish soap alternative.
~Each floor cleaner pac is for a bucket of mop water.

This bundle would run at about $70

Refill Bundles:
~all the pacs and Sals Suds refill from the original bundle

This bundle would run around $20

Before I put all this together, buy the bottles, and figure out sales tax collection and remittance-- are you interested?

For hard floors, it can be difficult to choose the right method. The truth is, there are pros and cons to each.

🧹Brooms require no maintenance or electricity, they won't wake a baby, and they are a great way to address spills as soon as they happen. Unfortunately, they can kick dust into the air instead of removing it. They also

💨Vacuums are noisy and they aren't as convenient as reaching for a broom. They require maintenance of dust cups, filters, and other moving parts. However, they are much more effective at collecting and trapping debris. When selecting a vacuum, choose one with a brush roller that can be turned off-- these rollers can damage hardwood floors.

Hello, and welcome to your many options:

🌳Wooden butcher block- Very visually appealing. Adds warmth, character, rustic charm. Cheaper than quartz to install. But requires a lot of maintenance-- very regular cleaning and re-applying stain/sealant. You can't leave spills on it for any length of time as it can be damaged by moisture-- parents of teenagers beware. The porous surface can hold bacteria if maintenance cycles are not carefully followed. Can be damaged by heat as well as moisture. Can be dented or scratched. Do your research before you commit. $50 to $150 per square foot.

⛰Natural stone- Beautiful and one of a kind. These surfaces are incredibly resilient to heat, but susceptible to chemical damage. They are susceptible to acidic things like lemon juice, vinegar, wine, and tomatoes. They are also susceptible to chelating agents present in dish soap, which can eat into the surface of the stone in a chemical process called micro-etching. The surface is only non-porous (which makes it easy to clean and disinfect) when sealant is intact. Maintenance is less frequent than butcher block, but costly. They also require resealing. $45 to $200 per square foot.

👷Laminate- A manmade surface that is inexpensive to install and DIY-friendly. Comes in a variety of colors. Durable when it comes to chemicals, but susceptible to moisture damage and heat, especially along seams. Almost impossible to repair damage. Non-porous surface is very easy to clean and disinfect, and unlikely to stain. Lower resale value compared to other options. $19 to $45 per square foot.

🪨Quartz- Manmade stone that is non-porous, resistant to chemicals, resistant to stains. Comes in a wide variety of colors and manufacturers are getting very good at mimicking stone. Does not require sealing. Maintenance is as easy as soap and water. Not susceptible to chelating agents in dish soap and forgiving of abandoned spills. NOT heat resistant. Requires special tools to cut, which makes it unsuitable for DIYers. $59 to $130 per square foot.
