Accord Hospice of Manhattan was grateful to host our 8th annual Lights of Remembrance Tree Lighting Ceremonies on Thursday last week. Both ceremonies were unique and meaningful.

Each year as the holidays approach, we begin to plan and think of all that is ahead. How will we make this season special and include our holiday traditions? But along with that may come those moments of sadness as we miss those that will not be with us to celebrate. We gathered at both the Manhattan Senior Center - serving area seniors since 1982 and Tallgrass Healthcare in Junction City to acknowledge those feelings of "missing," and also the brilliant light of those who have touched our lives forever. It was a time to reflect and confirm those who may not be with us physically, but remain in our hearts always.
Thank you to all who attended, our families who lit the trees and to the Manhattan Senior Center and Tallgrass Healthcare for watching over our trees during the holiday season.
Please know that our Lights of Remembrance trees will remain lit throughout the holiday season and you are welcome to visit for your own personal time of reflection.

Please join us at one of our Lights of Remembrance Tree Lighting Ceremonies at the location of your choosing. A time to honor those we miss during this very busy time of year.
Thursday, December 11th from 5-6 pm - Manhattan Senior Center - serving area seniors since 1982, 301 N. 4th St. in Manhattan and Tallgrass Healthcare, 1417 W. Ash St. in Junction City.
Along with the lighting of the tree, there will be music, a special message, and the opportunity to say the name of the person(s) you continue to hold dear in your heart. The trees will remain lit throughout the holiday season.
Light Refreshments will follow.

Accord Hospice of Manhattan is so honored to host our annual Lights of Remembrance Tree Lighting Ceremonies once again this year. All are welcome to attend at the location of your choice.
On Thursday, December 11th, we will host at both the Manhattan Senior Center - serving area seniors since 1982, 301 N. 4th St. in Manhattan and Tallgrass Healthcare, 1417 W. Ash St. in Junction City.

Both events will take place from 5-6 pm with the lighting of the tree at 5:15 pm by a family that has been served by Accord Hospice. Along with the tree lighting, there will be beautiful music, a special message, and refreshments to follow. There will also be a time to acknowledge those loved ones and friends that you miss. The tree will remain lit throughout the holiday season in honor and memory of those we cherish.

Please join us for our Annual Lights of Remembrance Tree lighting event at the location of your choosing. It will be a special evening to honor those we miss, especially during the holiday season. Along with a special ceremony that includes music and a brief message, the tree will be lit and remain so throughout the holiday season. Light refreshments will follow.
