Nobody should ever have to endure the pain of a broken leg, but everyone should experience how much a broken leg has made me appreciate having two healthy legs.

As is the case with most things in life, eventually we learn to appreciate the scars. 🙏🏼

Training Philosophy

While earning my Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Delaware, I worked with Team USA increasing human performance at the highest level during the Summer Olympics in Beijing in 2008. I studied Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics alongside the greatest athletes, coaches and sports medicine professionals in the world. This experience instilled in me a genuine desire to make people better, so I became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and started training clients at Chelsea Piers soon after.

I have received the Chelsea Piers Coach of the Year award and my workouts have been featured in Men’s Health, Self, SpikeTV, Glamour, Weight Watchers online and more. In 2012, I was an integral part of the team that launched SurfSET Fitness, a fitness start-up that earned international success when Mark Cuban invested on ABC’s television show Shark Tank.

My favorite quote is Henry David Thoreau’s, “Move confidently in the direction of your dreams; live the life you’ve imagined.” My daily objective is to bring out the best in my clients and help them live the life they desire. With a positive mindset and a comprehensive approach, I am passionate about motivating and coaching people to achieve their fitness goals while feeling good and living a balanced, fun lifestyle.
