It is January, my least favorite time of year. Cold, snow, frozen water buckets for my therapy farm animals....and insurance deductibles and out of pocket maximums reset, costing consumers and providers so much more money.
In an effort to get more organized, I have been trying to track business income a bit better.

Among the invoices I sent out for out-of-pocket expenses after insurance companies processed claims, I was able to collect the following:

10% of the total amount invoiced for November
14% of the total amount invoiced for December
So far only 4% of the total amount invoiced for January

I bill with kindness -- I do not hound people with phone calls or negatively impact their credit by sending them to collections. If you have utilized my office/farm for services, please consider paying your invoices as soon as you are able and catching up with past due balances, even if you can do so little by little over time. It would help me and my business so much! I am not a big corporation that can easily eat these costs.
