Meet Dorothy Damon! She joined Mt. Hope about 6 months ago, uncertain of what her future held and in need of physical therapy. Through the compassionate dedication, unwavering care and encouragement of our PT team, Dorothy found mobility and strength again and the joy of returning home to her husband. What a true journey of hope, healing and love!

Do you have it on your calendar to attend Mt. Hope's Fall Benefit Banquet on Saturday, Oct. 25 at Manheim Brethren In Christ Church at 5:00 PM? If you've never been, this is the year I encourage you to come on out! Join us for a fabulous evening with delicious homemade Italian food, wonderful short program, and a dynamic theme baskets & experiences fundraising event!! Below, are some of our dear Mt. Hope folks, holding baskets which you can bid on at this event. Also, here is a photo of lasagna rigatoni from Francesco's Italian Restaurant in Manheim; it's one of the dishes to be served at our Fall Benefit Banquet. * Experience catered meals:
- Party packs of smoked pulled pork & brisket w/BBQ sauce
- A High Tea meal
- Backyard BBQ for 8 people
- Fire-grilled BBQ meats for 30 donated by Peters’ BBQ, Manheim

Many other items to bid on include: handmade wood-turned bowls and charcuterie boards, handsewn comforter with matching pillows, welded metal art, a gold chain-link bracelet from Koser Jewelers in Mount Joy, an Instant Vortex Plus air fryer, a large outdoor fire pit with a mesh lid along with mountain makers, hot dog metal roasting sticks, and food items to go along with the fire pit, a 28” Blackstone Grill/Griddle with hood & accessories rail system and outside weather resistant grill cover, and a luxurious condo stay overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway and famous Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, SC. ​A variety of themed baskets for the auction also include homemade and donated items from local businesses and individuals, experiences, gift cards to local attractions and retail stores, as well as passes to events and local entertainment spots as well as homemade pies, cakes, and breads.

This year we're blessed with several new, unique auction items and experiences. You won't want to miss the catered meal by Francesco's Italian Restaurant, Amy's Mixing Bowl, and Kreider Farms. Today is the day! FRANCESCO'S PIZZA & MT. HOPE benefit event!! Join us at Francesco's Pizza, 30 S. Main Street, Manheim for our fundraiser where Francesco's is donating 15% of all sales between 4-7 PM. Francesco's has a special family connection to Mt. Hope; we are grateful for their generosity. Also, we are so thankful for everyone who attends tonight's benefit. It will be great to see everyone tonight!
