religion, finances, or the ability to cover costs of care. First established as the Dunkard Brethren Church Home in 1969 to serve the needs of the church and local community, Mt. Hope continues a rich tradition of resident-centered
care. We offer dignity and hope to people on fixed, low incomes with limited resources, as well as providing
full nursing and rehabilitation-to-home programs. Today, with a ministry connection to Ephrata Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, our vision extends to services where excellent
care is given and health goals are achieved. Hope is a warm, friendly place where no senior goes unserved!

I hope everyone is staying warm during these cold, snowy winter days! I’m excited to share an opportunity to support our Mt. Hope residents. This is a wonderful way to show you care, and you won’t even have to cook a meal for your own household. The BBQ chicken and gourmet cheese potatoes are truly delicious!

Meet Dorothy Damon! She joined Mt. Hope about 6 months ago, uncertain of what her future held and in need of physical therapy. Through the compassionate dedication, unwavering care and encouragement of our PT team, Dorothy found mobility and strength again and the joy of returning home to her husband. What a true journey of hope, healing and love!

Do you have it on your calendar to attend Mt. Hope's Fall Benefit Banquet on Saturday, Oct. 25 at Manheim Brethren In Christ Church at 5:00 PM? If you've never been, this is the year I encourage you to come on out! Join us for a fabulous evening with delicious homemade Italian food, wonderful short program, and a dynamic theme baskets & experiences fundraising event!! Below, are some of our dear Mt. Hope folks, holding baskets which you can bid on at this event. Also, here is a photo of lasagna rigatoni from Francesco's Italian Restaurant in Manheim; it's one of the dishes to be served at our Fall Benefit Banquet. Truly, it was just as amazing tasting as it looks! BE SURE TO SAVE-THE-DATE: Saturday, October 25, 2025.
