Audrey Ogg (née Gille), age 86, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born on August 28, 1939, in Evanston, Illinois, Audrey lived a life marked by quiet strength, creativity, and deep devotion to those she held dear.

Audrey enjoyed her professional journey with the Sara Lee Corporation, where she worked diligently until the company made plans to relocate. Her career reflected her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

On May 1, 1982, Audrey married Robert Ogg Sr., embracing not only a new chapter in her life but also a new family. Though Robert passed away just four and three-quarter years later, Audrey’s bond with his children endured. She formed a lasting relationship with Diana (Ken) Gould of Missouri, whom she lovingly embraced as her own daughter. Audrey’s love extended across generations as she became a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother to Diana’s children and grandchildren: Aaron (Melissa) Morris of Arkansas; Kevin (Max) Buhmann of Missouri; Nathan (Ashley) Eudy of Arkansas; Amber Moore of Arkansas; Randy Morris; Valerie Zimmermann; Chandler Eudy; and Leon Eudy—all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Audrey had a gift for making others feel special. She never missed a birthday—always sending a card or making a heartfelt phone call to celebrate the occasion. Her thoughtfulness left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.

In her younger years, Audrey enjoyed bowling in a league—a pastime that brought camaraderie and fun into her life. She also had an eye for beauty and charm in unexpected places. Whether browsing craft fairs or exploring thrift shops, Audrey delighted in finding unique treasures to decorate her home. Her creativity shone through in the photo albums she lovingly assembled for herself and various family members—each one a tangible expression of cherished memories.

Later in life, Audrey found peace and happiness living near a lake. The tranquil setting became the backdrop for countless family visits filled with laughter and togetherness. When loved ones came to stay—especially grandchildren—a day at the lake, or a week, an entire week of shared joy.

Audrey was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Ogg Sr.; her parents Peter and Barabara Gille; her brother Peter Gille; and sisters Rosemarie Gille and Barabara Salazar.

She is remembered with love by Diana (Ken) Gould; grandchildren Aaron (Melissa) Morris, Kevin (Max) Buhmann, Nathan (Ashley) Eudy, Amber Moore; great-grandchildren Randy Morris, Valerie Zimmermann, Chandler Eudy, Leon Eudy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and all those whose lives were touched by her warmth and generosity.

Audrey’s legacy is one of kindness, resilience, and unconditional love. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her. A Funeral Mass will be held on February 6, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Norbert Catholic Church 1809 Walters Ave. Visitation will be at 9:15a.m

Interment to follow at Ridgewood Memorial Park, Des Plaines Illinois
