Jacque was a proud mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother, a faithful member of Barcelona Road Baptist Church, and became an instant friend to everyone she met. In her free time, Jacque loved to knit, read, work in her flower beds, and spending much dedicated time caring for her husband. She loved traveling and was always looking for an adventure.

Jacque led the prayer shawl ministry at her church for many years and never missed a chance to teach someone to knit or the opportunity to share the story of why she always wore a butterfly.

Many families ask why funerals can be so expensive, and it’s a fair question. We believe in being transparent, so we want to help explain how the costs are divided.

While the funeral home does charge for our professional services, staff, facilities, vehicles, care of your loved one, and planning support, not all of the money stays with us.

There are also third-party charges that the funeral home collects and then pays out on your behalf, such as:

• Cemetery charges (opening/closing the grave, perpetual care, grave liners if required, etc.)
• Vault or grave liner charges (these are set by the vault company, not the funeral home)
• Clergy or officiant honorariums
• Church or venue fees
• Musicians, flowers, obituaries, death certificates, permits, and other required items

We act as a coordinator to make things easier for families during a difficult time, but those costs are paid directly to the cemetery, vault company, and other providers.

Yes, we do charge for everything we provide — just like any other professional service — but it’s important to understand that the funeral home is not the only one being paid.

Our goal is always to explain every option, every charge, and help families make the choices that are right for them and their budget. Questions are always welcome 870-561-1197 or https://www.faithfuneralservice.net/ 🤍
