Phase 1 of our construction is nearly complete. We will be starting Phase 2 next week. Everything must be cleared from the rooms by Monday, March 23 when the demolition crew arrives.

We are planning to start moving residents to the other side of the building today (Tuesday, March 17). Facility staff will be calling you. Please let us know if you would like to be here during their move.

We will provide a television in the rooms they are moving to and we will have DirecTV. A channel lineup will be provided. They will not be able to have other cable or satellite service, but streaming may still be possible. If you already have your own television in the current room, you might consider taking it home during the move.

Some of our residents have accumulated a lot of stuff. It is important that they have things that they want and need to make their rooms home like, but if they have things they no longer need, this might be a good time to purge.

This week will be chaotic. Offices will be moving today. (Monday) It will also be exciting. We know you probably have questions. We will do our best to answer them.

After the move, the new door on the north side of our front parking lot will be the main entrance for the next year until Phase 2 is finished.

This happened at a home in Missouri, not Michigan and DEFINITELY NOT Manistee. We are a smoke free facility and our planters are not ash trays. This was an avoidable tragedy and our hearts go out to everyone who was affected by it.
