This happened at a home in Missouri, not Michigan and DEFINITELY NOT Manistee. We are a smoke free facility and our planters are not ash trays. This was an avoidable tragedy and our hearts go out to everyone who was affected by it.

Manistee County Medical Care will have Trick or Treating from 3-4:30 this year on October 31st. The Activity Department is accepting donations for Halloween candy. Candy can be dropped off in Frank's mouth by the front office or with the Activity Department.

CERTIFIED DIETARY MANAGER

We are seeking a FT dedicated and experienced Certified Dietary Manager to join our team at Manistee County Medical Care Facility, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center committed to providing exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities include:
• Overseeing daily kitchen operations and meal service
• Managing dietary staff scheduling and training
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Working closely with nursing and administrative staff to meet residents’ nutritional needs

Qualifications:
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred or ability to obtain certification

• Experience in long-term care or healthcare food service required

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
