Our beautiful private 6 bedroom home is located in Manistique Michigan. The location offers wooded views out every winodw. Our barrier-free living facility offers a luxury design for your loved comfort. We have trained staff 24/7 to address all levels of care. Come feel the beauty of the beautiful setting and warmth if your new home. The facility is located one-mile from Rural health clinic. 1.5 Hours west if Mackinaw Bridge and 50 miles east of Escanaba, Michigan. Mission Statement:

A little over a week ago, Northern Comfort received a call from a family looking for help relocating their loved one from Washington to Manistique, Michigan. From the very first conversation, it was clear this client needed immediate support—and without hesitation, our incredible supervisor and caregivers jumped into action.

What followed was a 5½-day journey involving 6 flights and over 4,000 miles of driving, all completed tirelessly to ensure this client arrived home safely. Along the way, our staff experienced some truly breathtaking sights—including the unmatched beauty of Montana’s wide-open skies and mountains, a reminder of just how far dedication and compassion can take you.

At Northern Comfort, we believe everyone deserves a safe, comfortable place to call home—no matter their circumstances or the distance involved. When a family calls us for help, we do whatever it takes to bring their loved one home safely.

So when you call Northern Comfort, know this: we will be there—no matter the miles, no matter the challenge. 💙

I would like to take a moment to speak about someone really special to us! On January 14, 2026 our beloved Ray took his last breath. He was surrounded by nothing but love, compassion, and support on this heart breaking night! Raymond lived a pretty tough life, he made some mistakes during his life but those who TRULY knew him and understood him knew what a great person he was! Ray truly became a pivotal part of our family at Northern Comfort! He enjoyed watching his football games most of all his favorite lions or University of Michigan! Oh and can’t forget “Cops” he absolutely loved to laugh at that show with staff! He most of all just overall enjoyed spending time and talking with staff. Ray always greeted me with a smile and just an overall sense of happiness to see and talk with me. Forever cherish our late night talks. Ray was loving, attentive, and kept staff on their toes. Haha! He had a strong personality and a genuinely caring heart to match! Caring for Ray has truly been a privilege and an honor. He has forever left a mark on our hearts! We are so greatful that we were afforded the opportunity to spend time with you, Ray! Our thoughts and prayers are with his brother who faithfully supported Ray everyday. ❤️

We recently started to get our exercise room up and running. Our residents and fur staff have been working hard in there. Then of course after all that hard work we continued our Christmas festivities 😊
