Our next Parent Café is on February 11th from 5:30-7:30! A free meal for all participants and childcare for children aged 6 months to 11 years are provided for the duration of the event, which is open to any parent in the community.

Parent Cafés are physically and emotionally safe spaces where people talk and listen to each other on topics that matter to them, such as the challenges and victories of raising a family, navigating landscapes of inequality, enhancing well-being, or being involved in the recovery process of someone they love. Through individual self-reflection and peer-to-peer learning, participants explore their strengths, learn about the Protective Factors, and create strategies from their own wisdom and experiences to strengthen their families. Congratulations Roncalli Elementary on your award! We appreciate all of the schools who participated in Walk and Roll to School Day this past October. These events help encourage active modes of transportation, build healthy habits, increase pedestrian safety, and reduce vehicles on the road allowing for a cleaner environment.

We can't wait to see how many schools participate next year and who will be the next recipient of the GOLDEN SNEAKER!

A huge thank you goes out to P&G Green Bay for donating 1,992 diapers in support of our Community Baby Shower held this past Friday. Your donation helped so many families and we are extremely grateful.

This past Friday we welcomed 77 families-about 240 individuals at our 3rd annual Community Baby Shower hosted by HMC Investing Early!

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, planned, and attended the event! We also want to thank all the agencies who provided education, showcased resources, and provided some extra fun at the event!

We cannot thank those who came to our Breaking Barriers to Mental Health Services Panel event last week enough! 52 attendees representing wonderful local agencies and resources came together to rebuild empathy, explore barriers to getting care, and explore how to help individuals navigate services.
