As an essential service, Surdy Family Services will remain open and continue to honor scheduled client appointments on Friday, January 23rd. If you choose to cancel your appointment, we fully respect and support your decision.

If you are in need of services or additional support, please do not hesitate to reach out. Our locally owned clinics have come together to form a strong network of mental health providers committed to supporting individuals and families during this challenging time. If we are unable to meet your specific needs, we will work within our network to connect you with appropriate care.

We stand firmly against hate and discrimination and remain committed to dignity, equity, and care for all. In solidarity with our community—power to the people and freedom for all.

We are grieving and outraged by the killing connected to ICE activity in Minneapolis. Loss of life is never justice.

We do not stand for violence; especially violence that is then dressed up as “law and order.” We do not stand for racism being masked as public safety, nor for fear and chaos being created to justify power, funding, or jobs. Harm done to communities is not protection. Trauma is not collateral damage.

Our work exists because we believe something different is possible.

We are here to provide mental health care, support, and education; especially in moments like this, when pain, anger, and fear run deep. We believe in meeting people in their darkest hours and helping them find grounding, clarity, and healing. We believe in lifting one another up, not tearing communities apart.

Justice does not come from force. Safety does not come from terror. Healing comes from accountability, compassion, and care.

We remain committed to showing up, speaking truth, and supporting the mental and emotional well-being of our communities, today and always.

If you are looking for therapy we have several providers that have immediate openings.
