Happy Veterans Day to all those who have so selflessly served our country. ♥️ 🇺🇸 We were especially honored to get to recognize two of our residents as veterans today! Our community was blessed to have two rounds of live music on this Veterans Day — first over lunch by our volunteer Rosemary on the piano, and then again this afternoon with music therapist Kristin Ziemke and her guitar. Between flipping through old photos, having visits from the kiddos bearing artwork and hugs, listening to the music, and receiving all the wonderful recognition and love, it was a very full and special day for our vets. 💙

last week was all about apples! 🍎🍏 the preschoolers came and helped us prep some apples for baking apple pie. we used an apple corer/peeler/slicer tool everyone thought was the coolest! the kids especially loved peeking through the cored apple at their grandfriend on the other side 🥰
