Our Wednesday 9 AM class absolutely brought it today. They showed up for themselves, for their goals, and for every single rep. No matter how far I pushed them, they gave me everything they had — and then a little more. 💪✨

✨ Let’s talk Pilates Pace ✨

At Studio E, we move with intention—and that means using Pilates pace in every single rep. Pilates pace is a six-count timing:
• Three counts to move in one direction
• Three counts to return

If the carriage isn’t moving, the same rule applies—three counts to reach the end of the movement, three counts to come back home. Simple… but don’t let that fool you 😅

That slower pace is where the magic happens. It builds strength without momentum, increases time under tension, improves control and stability, and challenges your mind-body connection. You feel everything—the shake, the burn, the focus.

Next time you’re in class, notice how long one rep actually takes. Pilates pace is no joke, especially if you’re used to moving fast. Slow doesn’t mean easy… it means effective 💪

We use the white spring in class every single day for a variety of exercises where control, stability, and precision matter most. It’s a Studio E favorite for planking, side pulls, side splits, and so many other sneaky-hard movements. Less spring means more work for your core, deeper muscle engagement, and zero momentum to help you out.

The white spring is perfect for balance challenges, single-limb work, and anytime we want you to move slowly, intentionally, and with full-body control. It’s light, but it demands focus — and yes, it will shake you in the best way. 😅
