🎉 Ending the week by celebrating our amazing students!

After another successful Legislative Hit the Hill Day, students from each ATEP came together at the Twin Cities Orthopedics Vikings Training Facility for our annual Quiz Bowl. They enjoyed a behind‑the‑scenes facility tour, shared dinner, and then battled it out for the chance to represent Minnesota at the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Association Quiz Bowl—and potentially advance to the National Athletic Trainers' Association Quiz Bowl this summer!

Hear from Minnesota AT Annika Pasch, the first athletic trainer for the US Biathlon Team at the 2026 Winter Olympics. She shares her journey of providing medical care for elite athletes on the world's stage to her experience coming back home in Minnesota working where the athletic trainer's practice act was last updated in 1993.

I treated athletes at the Olympics in Milan, but Minnesota law constrains trainers like me from helping meet broader health care needs.
