Okay okay… we know we’re a little behind on posting our Fri-YAY winners and Employee of the Month 😅 BUT we’ve been busy celebrating all the amazing things happening around here and soaking up every bit of this warm weather when we can! ☀️

Chris has been a culinary aide/cook here at Oaklawn for almost 3 years! He’s always here with a smile and ready to tackle anything in the kitchen!

Krystal is a Registered Nurse and has been with us for 4 years! She is always willing to go above and beyond to make Oaklawn a better place!

Sue has been with us for 6 years, and we are very lucky to have her as part of our activities department! Every morning you can find her greeting residents in the dining room with a smile!

Today we wrapped up Social Work week! We are so thankful for the compassion, dedication, and support Josie brings to our residents every single day! 🤍✨

We also had the privilege of showering Josie as she gets ready to welcome a baby boy! 💙🍼👶 so much joy, support, and new beginnings all in one week!

Feeling lucky and looking pretty in pink at Oaklawn! 🍀💗

Our staff had a blast celebrating St. Patrick’s Day today, bringing all the festive energy and smiles to our residents. At the same time, we’re honoring Social Services Month with a fun dress-up week—and today’s theme was PINK!

From shamrocks to shades of pink, our team showed up in style, spreading joy, laughter, and a whole lot of positivity throughout the building. We are so proud of our amazing staff who go above and beyond every day to make Oaklawn a warm and welcoming place.

Today at Oaklawn Rehabilitation we had a little extra luck on our side! 🍀 Our staff had so much fun dressing up for Lucky Charm Day, bringing smiles, laughter, and a whole lot of green throughout the building. We are lucky to have such a wonderful team! 💚🍀

Happy Social Worker Month! 💙

Today we want to recognize and thank our incredible social worker, Josie! And also our social services intern, Alexis! Your compassion, dedication, and advocacy make a difference in the lives of our residents and their families every single day. You help guide people through difficult transitions, offer support when it’s needed most, and ensure every resident feels heard, respected, and cared for.

We are so grateful for the kindness, patience, and heart you bring to Oaklawn. Thank you for all that you do to support our residents, families, and team. Your work truly matters and does not go unnoticed.

Yesterday, our crafters made masks and jester hats and today we celebrated Mardi Gras with our residents playing BINGO and drinking sparkling juice🎉

🍀We want to thank the Riverbend 4H group for coming in last night and spending time with our residents! We had bracelet making, coloring, puzzles, trivia, card games and some tic tac toe all going on❤️ The group also brought in some yummy treats and juice to enjoy with the residents. It was a great night with many memories made🍀

We are having fun celebrating our culinary department this week! Yesterday we wore our favorite aprons and today we dressed in our comfy/cozy clothes☺️
The residents also made gifts to thank the culinary team: personal notes with some yummy candy for them to enjoy 🍫
