🥁 Introducing 🥁

Our newest herd member since 2023!

Fast Jackson aka “Tucker” belongs to one of our Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors, Katie Mikulcik, who is thrilled to have him here at the Ranch as an official therapy horse.

Tucker is 16 years old and comes to us for his 4th career change. He is a former AQHA race horse 🏇🏼 and also tried out barrel racing, then hunter jumping as well. Needless to say, this new career will be much more relaxing!

Join us at our next event, our Crawfish Boil Fundraiser, and you can meet our new hooved staff member. Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, 5-8pm. This event supports our Veteran & First Responder program, which we offer free of charge to uniformed service members. Get your early bird tickets until April 18th 🦀 🦀

Currently, the forecast shows a 90% chance for Saturday, so we will likely be holding the event under our covered arena instead of out on the trails. As we all know, April showers bring May flowers... this isn't the first time! 😄

Expedited Volunteer on-boarding offerings will be available on an as needed basis for difficult to fill and/or high support need lessons. Consider this a "one stop shop" to review orientation, horse safety and lesson volunteer training in a single two hour training session!

By attending an expedited volunteer on-boarding session, you guarantee availability at the indicated time & agree to commit to a weekly recurring volunteer commitment at that time, to the best of your ability. Currently our greatest needs are:

🐴 Adaptive riding sessions on
Thursdays, 9am-10:30am &
11am-12:30pm

🐴 Feed team on Mondays, 8-10am
