🔹 IM – Intramuscular (90°)
• Delivered well into muscle fibers
• Faster uptake thanks to rich blood flow
• Go-to areas: shoulder (deltoid), hip/glute region

🔹 SubQ – Subcutaneous (≈45°)
• Placed in the soft fatty layer under the skin
• Gradual, controlled absorption
• Common for insulin and select immunizations

🔹 IV – Intravenous (≈25°)
• Accesses a vein directly
• Immediate circulation and rapid effect
• Standard for hydration therapy and urgent meds

🔹 ID – Intradermal (10–15°)
• Positioned just beneath the skin surface
