We had the pleasure of attending the Friday Night Western Dance at the Burleson Senior Center, and what a beautiful evening it was.

The Burleson Senior Center has long been a place where local seniors gather for fellowship, activities, meals, and events that keep the spirit of community alive. It’s more than just a building, it’s a space filled with history, laughter, and stories from generations who helped build the world we live in today.

We were honored to help provide food and answer questions about home care, but the real joy was dancing, laughing, and sharing time with the wonderful seniors of Burleson. Moments like this remind us how important it is to stay connected to the people who came before us.

If you ever have the chance to attend an event at your local senior center, take it. Sit down, share a conversation, and listen. There are living libraries all around us, souls of the past still here, waiting for someone to hear their story. 💛

At Assisting Hands Home Care, serving Veterans and helping them understand their VA home care benefits is something we are deeply passionate about. Events like this allow us to connect with the incredible men and women who served our country and make sure they know about the resources available to them.

Our owner, Brittany McCleary of Assisting Hands Home Care, had the privilege of attending the Power of Heels event hosted by the Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce.

Power of Heels is the women’s division of the Chamber, dedicated to uplifting and empowering women in business through networking, leadership opportunities, and impactful events like the Women’s Health & Wellness Luncheon and the Full Circle Women’s Conference. It’s an incredible community of powerhouse women who are passionate about supporting one another professionally and personally.

This annual event brings together inspiring women leaders from across the community, and we are truly blessed to have Brittany be part of such a meaningful opportunity. The speaker and discussions were insightful, motivating, and a powerful reminder of what happens when women come together to lead and support one another.

The more we stay active in our community, the more opportunities we have to connect with families who may need the compassionate care and support our team provides every day. 💙

Raymond is a new addition to our family, and we are truly blessed that he chose us as his home care agency. Even in his short time with us, he has already proven himself to be one of our exceptional caregivers. His work speaks for itself, because his clients absolutely love and adore him.

We’re currently looking for any gently used or unused medical equipment that you may be willing to donate or pass along to a family in need. These items make a huge difference in helping our seniors stay safe and comfortable at home.

We’re looking for:
• Medical Bed
• Manual Wheelchair
• Shower Chair (unused)
• Hoyer Lift with sling
