We want to give a HUGE shoutout to Kandi for spreading holiday cheer at Grandview Nursing Home! 🎄❤️

Kandi went above and beyond by personally delivering gift bags to residents and proudly sharing that they were from Assisting Hands Home Care and our amazing clients, all with the intention of spreading kindness and the Christmas spirit. To make the day even more special, one of her granddaughters joined her in handing out gifts, creating a beautiful memory she will carry forever.

This is what heart-led caregiving looks like. Kandi represents Assisting Hands with compassion, faith, and genuine love for others, and we are so grateful to have her as part of our family.

Hey AH Family! 💖

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to every single person who participated in our Angel Tree Initiative. Words truly fall short when trying to express how meaningful this experience has been, especially knowing this was our very first year doing this for our caregivers. What started as an idea turned into something so much bigger than we ever imagined.

This year, many of our caregivers shared that they were facing difficult times. Some were stretching themselves thin, others were simply trying to keep going, and yet they still showed up every day to pour love, patience, and compassion into others. Watching caregivers come in before or after their shifts, sometimes tired but always smiling, just to pick up gifts for their families was incredibly humbling. The smiles on those parents’ faces said everything. In those moments, the stress faded, gratitude filled the room, and the true meaning of the season came alive.

We are beyond blessed to be in a position where we can give back to those who give so much of themselves every single day. This initiative is bigger than gifts, bigger than a program, it’s about community, faith, and showing up for one another. We truly believe God leads us to make positive choices that impact the lives around us, helping our community not just survive, but thrive in abundance.

To every caregiver who showed up and showed out for your fellow caregivers, we thank you. Your generosity, your hearts, and your willingness to support one another is what makes this team so special. And to the incredible community members and business owners who stepped in to help provide gifts for our caregivers, we are deeply grateful. Your kindness and support helped make this holiday season magical and meaningful for our team.

This experience has filled us with gratitude, hope, and excitement for what’s to come. We are already looking forward to next year and finding even more ways to uplift and support the amazing caregivers who are the heart of everything we do. Thank you for believing in this mission, thank you for giving, and thank you for being part of something truly special. 💖

We want to give a huge shout-out to Molly for being an absolutely outstanding Caregiver! Since becoming part of the AH family, she has received countless compliments, and we wanted to take a moment to recognize her hard work and dedication.

Molly is the primary caregiver for one of our Veterans, Grace, as well as a new client, and we are truly blessed to have her kind and caring spirit representing Assisting Hands. We love Molly for simply being Molly and for making every day count. 💙

She brings so much joy to the families she cares for and they eagerly look forward to her arrival! The bond she has built with her Veteran is incredibly special; he doesn’t want anyone else. Thank you, Molly, for the compassion, heart, and excellence you bring every single day!
