Due to the predicted continuation of inclement weather, Mansfield ISD will be closed on Friday, Jan. 10. This decision was made considering the safety of our students, staff and their families and included an evaluation of information from the National Weather Service predicting increasing precipitation, frigid temperatures and worsening road conditions throughout Thursday into Friday.

There will be no classes on Friday, Jan. 10 and all after-school activities, athletic games and practices are canceled unless otherwise communicated from our athletic and fine arts departments.

We appreciate your cooperation and patience. For your safety, please avoid any unnecessary travel.

Our office will be closed tomorrow, 1/9, due to inclement weather. Your therapists will be in touch to help you switch to virtual appointments, if this is something you’re interested in. We will keep you updated on Friday’s in office availability depending on the weather. Stay safe and warm! 

Due to the predicted inclement weather and for the consideration of our students and staff, Mansfield ISD will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 9.

The district’s decision included an evaluation of information from the National Weather Service predicting worsening road conditions during the school day and below-freezing temperatures.

There will be no classes on Jan 9 and all after-school activities, athletic games and practices are canceled unless otherwise communicated by our athletic and fine arts departments.

MISD will continue to monitor the situation and remain in communication with the National Weather Service and local city officials to stay up to date about the weather and road conditions.

Decisions about any further changes in school scheduling will be made on a day-to-day basis and will be communicated accordingly.

We encourage all staff and students to take their devices home with them today in case they need them during this time. We appreciate your cooperation and patience. For your safety, please avoid any unnecessary travel.

Howdy, folks! Happy New Year. 🥳

Looks like we have some potentially inclement weather forecasted for this Thursday, 1/9. We continue to follow Mansfield ISD school closures, so if Mansfield ISD closes our office will also be closed. We’ll post an update here if that ends up happening. In the meantime, stay warm and be on the lookout for communication from your therapists who can coordinate with you to meet via telehealth on Thursday if we end up closing.

Logos Counseling Mansfield will be closed again for in person appointments tomorrow, 1/16. due to the inclement weather. We follow MISD school closures. We are providing telehealth appointments while being out of the office. Due to the inclement weather, Mansfield ISD will be closed on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. There will be no classes on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 and all extracurricular activities are cancelled.

Student safety and well-being is a priority. The decision to close included factors such as dangerously cold temperatures with wind-chills in the single digits for students waiting at the bus stop and the potential for ice in shaded areas and on bridges and overpasses, which is especially dangerous for our student drivers.

Additional minutes to accommodate inclement weather days are built into the calendar. No make-up days will be required for lost instructional minutes.

MISD will continue to monitor the situation and remain in communication with the National Weather Service and local city officials to stay up to date about the weather and road conditions. Decisions about any further changes in school scheduling will be made on a day-to-day basis and will be communicated on our website and social media platforms, as well as via email, text, and on local news stations.

Meet Kaneisha! 🎉🎉🎉

“I am a graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Master’s in Professional Counseling. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Texas. I have and do work with a wide range population. I am currently working with adolescents 12 and up, young adults, older adults, and parents.

I have worked in the mental health field since 2009, starting as a skills trainer for kids, adolescents, and adults. I have provided case management, supportive assistance, and feedback to children, adolescents, their families, and adults. My experience has ranged from schools, to in home services, to courtrooms and jails. I have the unique perspective of meeting and treating an individual where they are, no matter where they are physically, emotionally, and mentally in their lives.

I believe therapy is about building a good rapport and incorporating good customer service. I value growing with my clients and helping them to see and reach their full potential. I believe in motivating my clients to identify and be the best version of themselves that they want to be. I like to have my client’s guide their treatment, so they are fully vested in the outcomes they are striving for. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to help client’s not only reach their goals but to change the way they think about goal setting. Through these models, clients begin to understand how the way they think affects how they feel and behave as well as how focusing on the problem doesn’t achieve goals but rather focusing on solutions will.”
