🍳 The FNTD Impact: Building a Stronger Culinary Community

Tourism is the heartbeat of our region, and a world-class culinary scene is key to making sure visitors keep coming back. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Northern Pennsylvania Regional College (NPRC) to invest in our food service workforce and build a stronger hospitality industry in the Northern Tier.

After surveying over 100 employers and kitchen managers across Potter, Bradford, and Tioga counties, we launched our first Culinary Boot Camps in August 2024, which gave local students some real-world kitchen experience and helped close critical skill gaps.

And we’re not done yet. 🍽️
A brand-new Culinary Boot Camp is launching this July in Wellsboro, hosted at Rookie Cooks Academy and led by the talented Chef James Fry. Even better? It’s free for residents of Bradford, Potter, and Tioga Counties thanks to generous funding from our partners.
