We would like to give out our condolences to the family of one of our residents family and our staff! Unfortunately, we lost a good man R.I.P Chris Collins, you will definitely be missed by us. You were the highlight of my day! Everytime I would pass by you, you would say my name and say Good afternoon! You were just the sweetest bud. I'm going too miss your laugh. Anytime, you were laughingvI would ask you Chris what are you laughing at and you said " Me, Myself and I" and you would laugh even harder. Also, anytime you would get frustrated I would say patience Chris and you would tell me patience is a virtue! I'll miss our singing together in karaoke. Karaoke won't be the same without you!!! Everyone was and will be forever fond of you! Fly High Buddy!!

I would like to give a huge Thank you and appreciation for our Housekeeping department!! They do a wonderful job keeping our building clean and the residents rooms looking amazing! Joshua Misty Donaho, Karen Banning-Riley, Patricia Jackson, Dakota Liles, Trish Freeman, Tina Gray, Britney Bates, Camryn Moore, Daniel Bruce!! You all do a phenomenal job! Keep up the good work and again you all are greatly appreciated!! Happy Housekeeping Week!!!

Here is CNA week didn't get many photos but here is what we were up too! Our residents tie dyed shirts for all our CNAs! We also had a blast with CNA Whackamole lol! Here's a few pics of them tie dying the CNA shirts! It's was definitely a fun week!

R.I.P- Our sweet angel!! We lost a very sweet lady Ms. Sheila Harrison June 2nd! She was definitely loved by many! Rest easy and you can spread your wings and look over all of us at Rocky Ridge!

We said goodbye to our Social Worker Katherine Newman! She is onto a new journey and we wanted to give her a farewell party! We celebrated her this past friday! I made (her) nachos, kitchen staff made a cheese ball and collard greens for her, our Administrator got cupcakes! Overrall, I got her she will definitely be missed! Good luck to you Katherine on your new journey!! Thank you to all the staff that helped me make this happen!

Here's a shout out to our Prefered Hospice for doing our Karaoke! Our resident's love our Karaoke that they come twice a month now! They come the first friday of every month to Celebrate that month's birthday's! Then they come the third week of every month! This was our 2nd time for May!!

Nursing home week we did spirit week! Didn't get a picture of all the days but i did get a few! Not very many dressed up but for the ones that did Thank you! We all had fun! Monday- was tye dye day, Tuesday was brighten our day Neon day, Wednesday was Tw***ie day (twin day), Thursday was pajama day, and Friday- was Friday Night Lights wear your favorite sports team baseball football etc.
