This season, we invite you to help build something beautiful, brick by joyful brick. 🧱✨
In the City of Joy, each story is a building block. Through tales of courage, friendship, gratitude, and kindness, our children’s books lay the foundation for a healthier, more connected world—starting with the hearts and minds of our youngest learners.

💛 This winter, we’re celebrating joy through:
📖 Storytelling events at 101 Tea Company in downtown Mansfield’s Carrousel District
🎨 A collaborative City of Joy Wall where kids can draw or write what brings them joy
💫 Small moments of kindness, connection, and community
Step into the City of Joy with us—where every story lights the way. ✨

📅 Mark your calendar to join us December 12 & 13
📍 101 Tea Company | 101 N. Main Street | Mansfield

Bring your children, your curiosity, and your joy. Let’s build something lasting—together. 💛

Stories from the Classroom 🧃These stories come from our classroom educator, Brooke, who loves sharing the fun, chaotic, and heartwarming moments she experiences during our Labyrinth Adventures lessons. This one, she says, was the definition of organized chaos — in the best way.
Students explored the benefits of eating with awareness through hands-on activities. Between laughter and overlapping voices, Brooke overheard gems like:
💬 “I notice the fruit snacks are different colors!”
💬 “I notice it’s sticky!”
💬 “I notice I am drooling!”
Even in the excitement, students were practicing focus, awareness, and curiosity — turning an everyday snack into an opportunity to connect with themselves, their senses, and each other.

Mind Body Align founder Annamarie joined the Branded Impact Podcast with Jocelyn to talk about what truly drives meaningful branding: learning the real needs and language of the people you serve.
When we stop assuming what our audience wants and start listening to their pain points, our work becomes support — not noise.
🎙️ What’s one need your audience is actually asking you to solve?

Stories from the Classroom 🦉
These stories come from our classroom educator, Brooke, as she recalls some of her favorite moments teaching Labyrinth Adventures lessons in local classrooms. During our Mindful Seeing lesson, Brooke brought out Oliver the owl — and the room filled with gasps!
Students practiced observation just like Oliver does in the story Oliver Plays Hide and Seek. They were invited to look closely without touching, describing what they saw with curiosity and focus:
💬 “I notice he has a walking stick like in the book!”
💬 “I notice he has pockets on his vest!”
💬 “I see his sharp black eyes.”
Through this simple exercise, students learned that looking is about slowing down, noticing details, and discovering calm through curiosity.

Kindness doesn’t stop with one small act—it ripples outward. 🌊
In Tia Spreads Kindness, students learn how one thoughtful gesture can brighten someone’s day and inspire others to pass it on. This , we invite you to continue the ripple at home.
Try the “Ripple Effect” activity with your family:
🪶 Fill a bowl with water and drop in a pebble for each kind act you do. Watch the ripples spread, and talk about how your actions can make others feel happier and more connected.
💡 Challenge: Do one kind act today—share a compliment, include someone new, or help a friend—and notice how it changes the energy around you.
Kindness grows when we practice it together. 💛

Stories from the Classroom 🐞These stories come from our classroom educator, Brooke, as she shares meaningful memories from teaching Labyrinth Adventures in local classrooms.
During the Lily’s Messy Masterpiece lesson, Brooke introduced the emotions backpack and it was an instant hit. Students were completely invested, their faces mirroring Lily’s emotions as she navigated frustration and learned to let go.
Through the story, students explored how emotions can feel heavy, like items we carry in a backpack, and how pausing, breathing, and kindness can help lighten the load.

A little recap of our team’s Halloween fun! 🎃
Some of us brought our favorite Labyrinth Adventures characters to life, while others showed off their Halloween spirit in creative ways. Can you guess which characters we’re dressed as?
Creativity, play, and connection aren’t just for kids — they’re part of how we grow together as a team, too.

🚫 Myth: You have to sit still to build awareness.
✅ Truth: Movement, laughter, and even conversation can help us tune in and reset.

Awareness isn’t about quiet — it’s about connection.
When students engage their bodies, they’re also engaging their focus, creativity, and emotional growth.

At Mind Body Align, we’re redefining what awareness looks like in learning spaces — because connection is where growth begins.

Transforming lives through mindfulness.

Mind Body Align is your hub for mindfulness education. We transform lives through mindfulness. Mind Body Align’s training meets you wherever you are: in our beautiful facility, online at your convenience, or in your school or place of business. There is a mindfulness program that is perfect for every child and every adult.

Mindfulness teaches attention control, self-awareness, and emotion regulation. For many people, including children, mindfulness is the missing piece to social-emotional learning and is now a part of most required school curriculums. By targeting three key skills, attentional control, self-awareness, and emotion regulation, MBA’s MBAwareness Educational Program builds student self-regulation to a greater extent than social emotional programs alone. Self-regulation allows students to think clearly enough to choose a strategy they learned in their social and emotional learning curriculum. SEL teaches those skills, but students don't know how to pause in order to access them. We help them learn, and practice, allowing it to be a habit and a part of their regular behaviors.

MBA also serves professionals. People all over the world engage with MBA to learn from the wise individuals who share their mindful, wise thoughts on our blog, and join our workshops and programs.

It all comes back to mindfulness. Fitness, relationships, job advancement, job satisfaction, anxiety, focus, reducing or eliminating PTSD, dealing with trauma – all are improved with sustained mindfulness practice. Ask us about the many studies which show students learn more and test scores improved after mindfulness education; similarly, adults are more productive and satisfied in their work and home life.
