What is Meridian Yoga? - There are 14 important meridian pathways that circulate (Chi) energy in the body, they bring nourishment and vitality to all the organs. These pathways are named and connected to the organs in the body, such as gallbladder/liver, stomach/spleen, kidney/bladder etc. Meridian yoga is about “freeing up blocks along these pathways and strengthening the flow of Prana (breath) life force energy using yoga asana (poses), resistance stretching and gentle pressure point massage to asssist in detoxing stale dormant energy (blocks) to our organs. This results in an opening, clearing and balancing of the energy flow to the whole body!
