Hair tip for Bouncy Curve:

1. It sounds odd, but you're going to want to condition before you shampoo. For hair to be full, it has to be free of residue. Conditioner softens hair, but it also weighs it down. Shampooing last actually helps swell the hair shaft.

3. Work a lightweight volumizing mousse into damp hair, from the roots to midlength. (Use a lemon-size mound from shoulder-length hair; use a baseball-size mound for longer hair.

3. Flip hair upside down and start drying-w/o using nozzle and while massaging the roots for max volume. Once hair is 80% dry, flip hair back up and finish drying it smooth with a large round boar-bristle brush.

4. Once hair is completely dry get out your hot rollers. Divide hair into 5 sections (3 from front to back & 1 above each ear). Lift each section straight up to the ceiling, place a large roller at the ends, and wind the hair slowly from ends down to roots. Pin to scalp.

5. Let the rollers cool down completely, then remove them and shake your hair out with your fingers. Finish with a light-hold hair spray.

Products needed: large round brush, hit rollers, mousse, light-hold hair spray
