Dr. Iten received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology from Miami University in 1986. Graduating from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1990, Dr. Iten then spent the next two years at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland where he completed a residency in pediatric dentistry in 1992. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Ohio Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Mansfield Dental Society. Dr. Iten also holds an oral conscious sedation permit from the state of Ohio. Establishing a dental home at an early age is crucial for your child's health and well being. At Pediatric Dentistry, we recognize that your children are not just little adults and they need to be treated accordingly. Kids are our specialty, and we have a reputation for offering the highest quality pediatric care in an environment that's child-friendly and fun. Upon entering our lobby, your child is greeted by a Playstation kiosk and wall-mounted touch screen games. Children's movies play continuously from three different screens. Parents can relax with a cup of coffee or bottled water while taking advantage of our in-office wi-fi to work on their laptops. Or they can watch a movie themselves or challenge their child in a video game as do many of our parents. Meanwhile, during their dental visit our patients can watch movies from ceiling-mounted screens in our treatment areas. Our doctors and staff here at Pediatric Dentistry have over one hundred years of combined experience of working with children. They are committed to providing for your child a positive experience that will result in a lifetime of good oral health and self-esteem. Today our team completed CPR training to make sure we’re always prepared to care for our amazing patients. We hope we never need to use it, but staying trained and ready is just one more way we keep our dental family safe.
