The old man is back! Reno came home from the hospital today and is doing great! Thank you to Weatherford Equine for the awesome, compassionate care and to Teri for letting us borrow her trailer.

Day 2 of Accelerated Resolution Therapy Basic Training

There was quite the commotion this last Thursday when Reno, one of our therapy horses, decided to eat some things he shouldn't have eaten. When a horse gets an upset tummy, it's an emergency.

Our Vet from C1 Vets recommended he take a trip to the horse hospital for a weekend stay to hydrate and remove a large impact.

I'm happy to say he's doing great and should be back at The Hope Place on Monday to tell his clients all about his adventures.

I can't thank everyone enough who helped get him the assistance he needed from Teri Berbel allowing us the use of her horse trailer to Stephanie Kimmel who alerted me to Reno's stomach pains and comforted him while we waited for the vet and to Karin Schober for being so patient while the vets blocked in her car to assess Reno and for holding the lead rope while we gathered supplies.
