Heads up about open enrollment for Medicare and Marketplace insurance plans for 2026. If patients have questions about a plan change, please feel free to ask us!
For folks using the healthcare marketplace, ACA aka Obamacare, if you don’t have known high specialist or medication costs, a bronze or catastrophic plan plus DPC may be an excellent option especially this year!

This year, with Congress in a stalemate about subsidies, Affordable Care Act marketplace consumers will need to be more informed than ever to navigate their health coverage choices.

Dr. Mike recently testified in support of House Bill 1343 – An Act Relative to Direct Primary Care.
🏥 This bill would:
• Let any DPC doctor order tests or referrals — no insurance network barriers.
• Allow doctors to dispense affordable meds directly from their offices (something most states already allow!).
These simple changes would make care more affordable, accessible, and patient-centered — the heart of what we do at Action Medicine DPC.

SAFE supports individuals and families in our community who are struggling with mental health and substance use problems. Check out the website for more info on programs offered.
