Due to the recent Covid-19/CV global pandemic and based on recommendations from California Chiropractic Association (CCA), we will only be seeing and treating chiropractic emergencies from 03/20/2020-03/31/2020. This is in effort to keep Emergency Rooms less crowded and open for other patients that may need immediate care.
To my Dept. of Transportation (DOT) truck drivers and trucking companies; in order for you to keep driving and meet public demands and safety, we are open for Exams and Drug tests. Medical Certificates expiring within next few weeks are more than welcome to come in, all remaining drivers, please wait until your medical cert. is about to expire. Pre-employment drug tests and Consortium rules are still in place for new hires. Please don't hesitate to call me with questions or if you have a chiropractic emergency which requires immediate attention. Please go online to see our updated office hours. Again, understand that we are making this decision with health, and well being of our patients, our family, my team, and our community in mind. Helped a patient get motivated to lose weight. He came in for a DOT physical 2 yrs ago, 300+ lbs, in poor health. Sat down with him, talked to him in regards to his (many) health issues, quality of life, and future of his career. Warned him, in 2 yrs when he returns for recertification & his weight is not down, I will disqualify him, he will not be able to opt CMV. Today he came in at 158lbs 😲 lost 150lbs in 2yrs.
