It looks like everything is up and running. We are sorry for any inconvenience this outage may have caused. We are still working with our pharmacy system to determine the exact cause. We are running behind due to the outage so please give our employees some time to fill your prescriptions.

Our computer system is completely down at the moment. We are working to get it back online as soon as possible. We currently have no phones or credit card and cannot process prescriptions.

We will update this post as soon as it is back online.

Be safe out there everyone! We are out making deliveries now and anticipate doing so until it is not safe. If something can wait until tomorrow, do wait. If you need something, come in now before this weather hits

We are closely monitoring the forcasted weather for today and this evening. For the safety of our customers and our staff, if you are able to arrange for your pickups before the severe weather hits, please do so. We will be doing our best to serve our customers as long as we are safely able to.

There seems to be fairly high confidence that our area is going to get some strong thunderstorms this afternoon into the night. These storms may produce large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes.

As a reminder for those without basements, we have two local storm shelters: St. Joseph Catholic Church (207 S. Main St) and Manteno Church of the Nazarene (698 N. Locust St.).

To enter St. Joe's use the south, lower doors that lead straight down to the basement. At the Nazarene church use the main doors and turn to the right upon entering.

Unfortunately, no animals of any kind are allowed in either shelter.

We are proud to be a drop off location for the Manteno Chamber of Commerce Women Supporting Women Supply Drive for The Closet at the Manteno Schools. You can drop off any donations any time the store is open.

The Closet provided free clothing, personal care items, and school supplies to the Manteno Middle School and High School students. If you are able, please donate to this worthy cause!

With the impending winter storm, we will be limiting our deliveries on Saturday November 29th. We will try our best but we value everyone's safety first. If you think you may need a delivery, call us now and we will be making as many deliveries as possible today.

We will be closed on Thursday 11/27/2025 in observance of Thanksgiving. We will reopen Friday 11/28/2025 with normal hours from 9-7.

We are having some issues with our internet, phones, faxes, and credit cards. The issue is intermittent and we are trying to get the issues resolved. Please be patient as it seems there are many other companies having similar issues today.

It's that time of year again. Oktoberfest is this week and we couldn't be more excited.
The store will be open normal hours this week but when the festival starts on Thursday, there will be increased traffic and parking will be unavailable in front of the store and the municipal lot next to the store. The alley will remain open for drive thru traffic for our patients. The time is now to call in refills if you want to avoid the traffic. The only entrance and exit for the drive thru will be from Division during the festival since First St will be closed.
We will still be doing our deliveries, however, traffic will be heavy due to garage sales in town and the festival. Please call all deliveries in as early as you can to ensure we can complete the deliveries in a timely manner throughout Oktoberfest.
We hope to see everyone at this year's Oktoberfest. Main Street Pharmacy - Manteno is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Lighted Parade with a great theme of Road Trip USA. We will be partnering with Rad Rides By Troy for our entry, another great business here in Manteno. We love to partner with other community businesses to help showcase what a great community we have in Manteno!
