One team. One family. 💙🏀

Last night was incredibly special as Center residents Cevanna, Crashawn, Laekin, Nishi, and Wyatt took the court as honorary starters for the Kent Roosevelt High School Girls Basketball game, while Oakwood residents David, Kathee, and W***y proudly stepped in as honorary coaches.

These athletes dedicate so much of their season to spending time with our residents, and it meant the world to return the favor by cheering them on to a well-earned victory. Moments like these will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Earlier this week, our Center residents enjoyed a special ice sculpting demonstration thanks to Elegant Ice Creations! 🧊

Residents watched through the windows as the artist sculpted a squirrel, a unicorn, and a butterfly. Some residents even had the opportunity to feel the ice which is a fun sensory experience! Thank you, Elegant Ice, for putting on such a great display for us! 🩵

Thursday evenings are extra special to us at the Center because that’s when our friends from the Kent Roosevelt Girls Basketball Team come and spend time with us! 🏀
This week, we played games and ended the night making bracelets and keychains. This special friendship has grown over 14 years, and we’re incredibly thankful for the time they continue to share with us each season 💙
