Today, we honored our amazing Veterans for their service and sacrifice — and celebrated National Sundae Day with a sweet treat! ❤️💙🤍

Our residents enjoyed delicious sundaes, shared stories, and spent the afternoon together in gratitude and joy. A big thank you to all who served and to our wonderful team who made today extra special!

Today our residents took a fun little outing to 7-Eleven to celebrate Slurpee Day! 🥤✨

We enjoyed tasty snacks, ice-cold Slurpees, and a relaxing scenic ride together. The smiles, laughter, and sweet treats made this afternoon extra special! 😄💛

🧪✨ Potion Making in Memory Care! ✨🧪
Today our residents had a magical time creating their very own potion bottles! We picked our colors, added sparkles, and talked about what our “potions” would bring — happiness, laughter, peace, friendship, and lots of love. 💖

It’s amazing how simple moments like these spark conversation, smiles, and memories. Our residents truly put heart into everything they do. 💜

It’s a Guys Thing! ✈🍔
Today we treated our gentlemen to a fun outing to the Flight Museum! They had a blast checking out the planes, talking about memories, and sharing laughs. Afterward, we stopped for a classic lunch at Whataburger — because you can’t go wrong with a good burger and great company!

🌾🎡 A Day at the Brazoria County Fair! 🎡🌾

Today our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents had an amazing time at the Brazoria County Fair! We started our morning with donuts and coffee, enjoyed some good old country music (our residents couldn’t resist dancing 💃🕺), and had fun visiting the farm animals 🐄🐐🐖.

We even played a few rounds of bingo, and our lucky winner Kim took home the prize! 🎉

It was such a joyful day filled with laughter, smiles, and memories we’ll cherish.
A huge thank you to our Activity Director, Tangela, for making this wonderful outing possible! ❤️

✨🥜🍬 Happy Fluffernutter Day! 🍬🥜✨

Today our residents celebrated Fluffernutter Day with a sweet and simple treat — peanut butter and marshmallow spread layered on a graham cracker. Paired with a nice cold glass of milk, it was the perfect way to enjoy a cozy afternoon snack together. 🥛💛

Along with enjoying our snack, we learned some fun facts:
📌 The Fluffernutter sandwich was first created in Massachusetts in the early 1900s.
📌 The original name was the "Liberty Sandwich," made during World War I.
📌 October 8th is recognized nationally as Fluffernutter Day to honor this classic sweet-and-salty combo!

We even added a little trivia to spark memories and laughter, like:
❓ Which came first — marshmallow fluff or peanut butter?
❓ What other foods were popular snacks in the early 1900s?

It was a wonderful mix of taste, history, and fun conversation. Our residents loved every bite and every story shared. 💕
