Our very own Molly and James welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Rose, on 1/27 💕
Prior to delivery, Molly experienced a hemorrhagic stroke related to an underlying condition and was subsequently diagnosed with Moyamoya disease, a rare condition in which major arteries supplying the brain become narrowed or blocked. Molly spent two weeks in the Neuro ICU, during which time she experienced two additional mini-strokes and resulting neurological effects.
We are incredibly grateful to share that at this time, Molly’s remaining symptoms include sensory loss in her leg and short-term memory loss. While she does not remember Rose’s birth, that does not diminish the immense strength and resilience she has shown—bringing Rose into the world and continuing to heal through this journey. Molly is nothing short of a warrior.
Big brothers Archer and Leo are already stepping into their new roles beautifully!
As Molly and James navigate a transition that goes far beyond the typical postpartum and newborn phase, we invite you to join us in supporting their family with meals, encouragement, and love. Once Molly has fully healed from her C-section, she is scheduled to undergo revascularization surgery as part of her continued recovery.
Thank you for helping us surround this family with compassion, strength, and support during this time.
With love,
Live to Move & All Things Maternal 🫶🏼
