Yesterday a client reminded me of something so simple, yet so deeply true.
Our bodies remember what our minds try to forget.
Every emotion we swallow down, every feeling we shove aside because it’s “too much” or “not the right time,” doesn’t just vanish. It finds a home somewhere in our body. Over time, that stuck energy can turn into heaviness, depression, anxiety, or even physical dis-ease.
We think avoiding our pain protects us. But in reality, burying our feelings just asks our bodies to carry a weight they were never meant to hold forever.
Healing starts the moment we stop running from ourselves. When we pause. Feel. Breathe. Let the wave move through instead of locking it away.
Your body is always whispering what it needs - sometimes it’s rest, sometimes it’s a good cry, sometimes it’s simply your presence.
You deserve to be free of what you’ve been holding on to for too long. 💛
