Traveling for spring break? Long road trips, flights, and beach days can mean fewer bathroom breaks, which may increase the risk of bladder infections and irritation. A little planning goes a long way for a healthy bladder on the go!

☑️ Don’t hold it -- Delaying bathroom breaks can lead to bladder discomfort and infection. Plan ahead and empty your bladder regularly.

☑️ Watch what you eat & drink – Citrus fruits, tomatoes, carbonated drinks, and alcohol can trigger bladder sensitivity, especially if you have an overactive bladder.

☑️ Stay hydrated & balanced – Offset acidic or irritating foods by drinking plenty of water to keep your bladder happy.

Need an appointment for unresolved bladder concerns? Call 763-587-7000 or book at premierwomenshealthmn.com/oakdaleobgyn.

In our new blog, we walk through the basics—so you know what questions to ask about things like activity restrictions, return to work, and what “normal” healing can feel like.

“I thought I’d feel glowing and goddess-like. Instead, I feel like I’m growing a tiny human while also trying to remember who I am. Some days I’m excited, dreaming about little socks and baby names. Other days, I’m overwhelmed, Googling every weird cramp and crying over commercials. But every kick reminds me—I’m doing something incredible. Even on the hard days, my body is showing up. And so am I.”

Pregnancy isn’t always picture-perfect—and that’s perfectly okay.
