Our halls were filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of festive spirit this morning as residents laced up their sneakers for our Turkey Trot Walk!

Everyone did an amazing job making their way through our halls and had a little extra exercise before the big feast. And of course—every participant proudly received a medal for their effort!

Did you know? Our Resident Engagement and Communication Committee, formed in January 2025, launched the Low Vision Group in March 2025 to support residents with vision impairments. Meeting monthly and welcoming friends and family, the group shares resources, discusses assistive devices, and promotes strategies for better community engagement. Achievements include distributing magnifiers, enlarging menus and signage, connecting residents with specialists, and providing access to the Braille and Talking Books Library. Members have built friendships, shared experiences, and gained confidence, reducing social isolation and fostering connection. This month we welcomed Renee, Community Life Specialist from Vision Loss Resources to speak at our monthly meeting!

Last week, we had the joy of welcoming our friends from New Creations Daycare for our annual Trick-or-Treat visit! Our halls were filled with laughter, smiles, and the sound of over 100 little ones in their costumes making their way through the community.

Our residents loved handing out candy and seeing all the creative outfits — it’s always such a heartwarming reminder of the joy that comes when generations connect. 💕
