I’ve recently been asked why we don’t offer other peptides and why our GLP-1 medications cost 🤑 more than what people may see online. Here are the answers:
At LifeWay, we only offer services and treatments that we fully understand, are properly trained in, and have extensive experience providing. If we are not 100% confident in the safety, quality, and evidence behind a product, we will not offer it. Your health is far too important for guesswork. 🤔
It’s also very important to understand the difference between true compounded medications and research-grade products.
Compounded medications 💊 are prepared by licensed, regulated compounding pharmacies and require a valid prescription. These products meet strict standards for purity, safety, and quality. 🔬
Research-grade products do not meet those standards and are not approved for human use. They cannot legally be prescribed by licensed medical providers. We will never compromise our licenses or our standards by offering something unsafe or illegal. 🙈
Unfortunately, many people are unknowingly injecting chemicals that are not intended for human use—often sold online at a low cost with no oversight or even provided by licensed professionals! 😱 While we can only control what we offer within our own clinic, I strongly encourage everyone to think carefully about who they trust with their care, and what they allow to be put into their bodies.
