Talk It Rock It - our story begins with a song!

Do you struggle finding the right tools to help your child or clients communicate? I understand. My entire career as a speech-language pathologist was spent looking for the right techniques and tools to help my students learn. I simply wanted the best for each and every kid, and so my journey started.

Many years ago, I was committed to using music with my students in early intervention. I knew that music was a tool that could motivate children and could reach children in ways that words could not. I could not find songs that would encourage children to imitate simple words and phrases - children who were at the very beginning of verbalizing. I couldn’t find songs that contained the techniques that I, as a speech-language pathologist, used on a daily basis. My solution? - Write my own songs.

My “out of control hobby” has become a company that allows me to reach thousands of kids every year through my songs and other products. I hope you find Talk It Rock It products as helpful as they have been to me in my work.

Rachel has created all Talk It Rock It products with the goal of helping children expand their speech and language skills.
