What is an Autoimmune Disease or Disorder?

Notice the last sentence in the discription . These diseases need to be “managed”. What does that look like? Prescriptions, a lot of tests, meditation and exercise are often prescribed by doctors but is it enough? Do they work? I would like to suggest hypnosis. I have worked with several people who have been diagnosed with “autoimmune diseases or disorders”. They were frustrated , confused and even angry about how their lives have been drastically altered.
