Bilingual Nursing Home Social Worker (Maple Shade)
compensation: 35k-40k/year (depending on qualification and experience)
employment type: full-time

A well-established nursing home in Maple Shade, NJ (near Cherry Hill Mall) is looking for a full-time social worker with a Certified Social Worker certification (CSW) in New Jersey.

Requirements:
- Must know English and Vietnamese and/or Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
- Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW)
- Experience working with elderly population is preferred, but not required

Job duties include:
- case management
- make referrals for health services
- coordinate discharge planning
- work with residents and families by identifying their psychosocial, mental and emotional needs
- work with staff to provide, develop, and/or aid the access of services
- improve the quality of life/care for individual residents by providing support, information and organization

We have two new residents coming in last week. They are Chinese and speak Cantonese and Fuchow. Miss He said she loves the food and can't help but notice how clean her new home is!
