The team at Family Pet Hospital would like to welcome Dr. Carl Bockenstedt to our practice. Book appointments with him starting November 4th.

Dr. Carl Bockenstedt grew up on a family farm in Iowa as the tenth of thirteen children, where his love for animals began at an early age. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1989 and went on to work in two veterinary practices before purchasing his own clinic in 1997, which he owned and operated for 23 years.

In 2019, Dr. Bockenstedt and his family relocated to Springville, Utah. After six and a half years with another local practice, he joined the Family Pet Hospital team.

Dr. Bockenstedt and his wife, Leslie, have seven children, six grandchildren, and two boxers who keep them busy at home. When he’s not caring for patients, he enjoys reading, jogging, and playing pickleball. He considers veterinary medicine more than just a career—it’s a lifelong passion and way of life.
