A few life-giving hours experienced with a kindred spirit today. We met for yummy strawberry matcha lattes, connective conversation, and then we were able to spend a good chunk of time exploring and connecting with her movement during a 1:1 Restore Your Core movement assessment session. Feeling energized and rejuvenated in every way. Grateful for my community of likehearted friends who are doing beautiful healing work in their own unique ways as they are supporting me as I do mine! 💖

Anyone else need this reminder from today? May the blossoms I’ve loved on in the last 2 days remind you that you are right on time. May that bring you a sense of ease and freedom today. Sending peace and love, Julie

The Restore Your Core program, created by is a unique approach to improving core and pelvic floor functionality in the context of the whole body, the whole person. The specific exercises have been informed by numerous approaches to movement and whole BEing strength and function including yoga, pilates, breathwork, dance, functional movement, biomechanics, pain science, physical therapy, pelvic floor physical therapy, somatic and embodiment practices, and nervous system supports. So, no, it is not yoga, but if you are familiar with any of these movement and whole BEing supportive practices, it will probably feel quite familiar. That being said, everyone I have led through Restore Your Core classes and 1:1 sessions tell me how in awe of the amount of challenge and connection they feel with their body as they move through familiar movements such as downward facing dog and squat and lunge. Restore Your Core is intentionally designed to bring us into a deeper connection with "how you do what you do when you do what you do" (a favorite quote from Lauren Ohayon). As a RYC movement pro, I am always inspired by what I discover during my personal movement practices and in the practices I co-create with others. Want to explore with me? DM/Email me or check out my current offerings here or on my website and see what may be a good fit for you. I look forward to supporting you on your healing adventure!

Today, I tried a new-to-me drink because I WANTED to! has a new cola based latte and I was intrigued! It was fun and weird and yummy and contained soda with ingredients I typically choose not to consume. Shocked? Appalled? I mean, I’m a trained FNTP which emphasizes consuming whole, nutrient dense, thoughtfully prepared foods and drinks! Here’s the thing, rigidity around how we choose to nourish ourselves (with diet, movement, etc.) leads to stress. And stress is not supportive of our whole BEing wellness. So, sometimes, I choose to eat/drink/do something just because it feels good dang it! And I do so without shaming myself, justifying it, punishing myself via a workout or super strict eating later, etc. I just enjoy myself. Intentionally and mindfully allowing myself to enjoy the experience of being nourished by pleasure and play as much as I do the other things I choose to eat/drink/do. It’s taken me a long time to find this safer relationship with myself. And I’m deeply grateful that this is where I am at right now. If you’re not in the same place, I get it. It took me at least 10 years of slowly sorting through patterns and beliefs and choosing to practice something new before I found myself here. You’re not alone. I am cheering you on!

This water was delightfully cold from the snow melting in the mountains just up river. I love soaking my feet in these icy waters and listening to the whispers of wisdom in the flow.

How we breathe can have a huge impact on our physical, emotional, and whole BEing experience. Do you want to explore your own breathing patterns? Would you like to see if there are ways you can experience more allowing and trust and ease of movement in the breathing process? A 1:1 movement assessment session is one of my favorite ways to do just that. It would be an honor to be a guide for you! DM me for more information.

There’s a reason my words for 2026 are integrate and whimsy! Bringing those along with me as I move into this new season with new tools for supporting myself and others on healing adventures. Emphasizing real connections and community and creating space for rest and play in the midst of this new season. Birthing a new business. Parenting two beautiful humans. Reparenting myself. Supporting aging parents and siblings. Showing up with Love and intentionality in my marriage (20 years this month!!!) and friendships. Deliberately making choices that support the mutual flourishing of myself and all that is around me. Humaning in the ways that my deepest Self invites me to. What season are you finding yourself in, friends? How can I cheer you on?
