It was our first time to participate in Maplewood’ Let Them Eat Art Fair. It was undoubtedly successful and fun. We’re proud to be a part of Maplewood. It was warm out with a crowd that didn’t let the heat deter them from celebrating Bastille Day in this annual art fair.

Piacentini is not only a client but a talented artist and good human being. It was an honor to share space with her art.

We offered chair massages and tours of the treatment room and the sound enhanced table. We were one of 10 businesses who participated in a game where a participant sought out a hidden piece of pie in their businesses. Our winner was a kind person, Mary Baumgart, who was gracious and grateful. The winners of the drawing will be contacted soon! The grand winner will be posted.

We realize that in the Midwest, most people classify massage as a luxury. And for some, it may ring true. The reality is that many people have discovered that it can be an essential part of your self care like going to the gym or seeing a chiropractor. Stress is behind the many deadly diseases. Stress shortens lifespans. Massage can reduce that stress. When someone says “I’m too busy to get a massage.” I hear, “Massage isn’t important to me.” And that’s okay. It’s difficult to do things for yourself. I can relate to that. But we make time for what is important. I’m encouraged by my monthly and bimonthly clients that walk into the treatment room and say, “I have been looking forward to this.” or the clients who leave saying “That’s just what I needed. I think I’m going to go home and get some sleep.”

It’s rewarding to do what I do. We are in need of more clients who appreciate the benefits of massage in their life. If you haven’t had a massage in a long time or ever, you should give it a try. You might even regret not coming before now. Our introductory rate is usually $15 off the standard rate.
