Beginning today, April 1, the cemetery gates will be open 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. These gate hours will be in effect through August 31.

Are you in need of a thoughtful gift for someone special? Or a gift for that hard to buy for person? Or Mother's Day or Father's Day?

We are happy to send, or email, a gift certificate for a Flower Bed and/or Watering Service for the grave of a loved one buried here at Union Cemetery.

Just let us know who you'd like to purchase the Flower Bed and/or Watering Service for and their address, and the name of their loved one buried in our cemetery. Flower beds will be planted by Memorial Day and Watering Service can be for one, two or three months from June thru August.

Our staff at Union Cemetery would be happy to plant flowers and/or water flowers on the grave of your love one, using our Flower Planting Service and/or Watering Service.

Just a thoughtful reminder -

For many, Valentine’s Day is not a day of romantic gestures and beautiful flowers and heartfelt love notes. It’s a day of pain. A day of mourning what was lost — or what one never had in the first place. A day of sadness and loneliness. A day that dredges up old wounds and past hurts.

Despite how hard your heart might be grieving, there are a few things you can do for comfort.
Get outside. Soothe your hurting heart by taking a walk.
Read a book. Getting lost in the stories can remind us of how beautiful life can be. Authors weave their words in many ways to take us on epic adventures, grief, imagination, and horror.
Get away for the night. If you can, create an adventure for yourself. It can be local or far. Either way, a fresh landscape to explore could also restore the hurt you’re feeling.
Spend time with a fur friend. Their love has no limits, and they just know how to fill us up with joy. Snuggle your own fur friend for the day or borrow someone else’s.
Write your story. Every word you release is healing for you and healing for others. Perhaps this story will resonate with another who is hurting and be a reminder that we are all in this together.
