Did you know Physical Therapy was officially recognized during WWI? They were led by women to provide care for injured soldiers!

Occupational Therapy techniques date back further than Physical Therapy and were used to treat mental illness, however gained popularity during WWI and WWII!

Due to the many injured soldiers suffering brain injuries during WWI and WWII, Speech Therapy attracted large numbers of men and women to the profession!

Celebrating Occupational Therapy Month!! Just what is OT anyway? Watch this short news story.
"Anything that we do on a daily routine can be therapy and can be improved. If you're struggling talk to your doctor about seeing an occupational therapist to help you do whatever it may be with greater ease and less pain," said Forrest-Clark.

April is Occupational Therapy Month, a month to recognize the special role occupational therapists have both in the health industry and in the lives of people who need them.
